Our Troop meets on the first, third, and fifth (if applicable) Tuesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Newark, DE.  (Directions

Troop 283 Parents - Mandatory Youth Protection Policy Review/Registration

  1.  Click the 'YOUTH PROTECTION' link under the left-side Menu of the webpage.
  2.  REVIEW the policies and requirements for Troop 283.
  3.  Follow this link to the registration event.  Once on the event, REGISTER to acknowledge that you've read and understand the Youth Protection policies.

This will 'sign off' that you have taken the Youth Protection Pledge for this year.

Amstel House - Edward Cierniak's Eagle Project

Hello Troop 283,

My Eagle Project is at Amstel House in Old New Castle Delaware on June 22nd from 9am to 3pm (ish?). The project is assembling and installing an ADA ramp for easy access to the museum for the physically challenged. The project will dig footers, pour cement, and assemble and place ramp. A very tasty lunch will be provided.

Support the pack and create your own unique wood sign! Register below for the Board and Brush fund raiser. Select a wood project from the gallery. All materials are provided, along with instructions to create a beautiful piece for your home or for a gift. Choose from a variety of paint and wood stain colors in the workshop. Cost for a workshop starts at $65 and pre-registration is required. Help us raise money for a great cause, 20% of registration fees will go towards the Cubs of Pack 283!

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Newark Chapter is offering scholarship money! 

Interested applicants must be active, registered parishioners.  The winner(s) will be selected based on academic performance, church/community service, and extracurricular activites (equally weighted).

Hungry?  Pack 283 is having a Red Robin fundraiser Wednesday, March 13.  

Forget cooking a meal, and stop by for some tasty food, maybe a Freckled Lemonade and good company.
